If you book us as your wedding photographer’s, we might make you do crazy things like wake up for a sunrise engagement shoot! But we promise, it will be worth it!

Elizabeth owns Paper Crane Calligraphy here in Syracuse and is the type of person you can’t help but smile and be excited about life around! We met back in the summer at a photo shoot at She Rents Vintage in Skaneateles and when she contacted me about her own wedding, I was so excited!! Her fiancé, Patrick, is a police officer in Syracuse and the first time they met, the timing wasn’t right….but everything happens at the right time and a year later, they found their way back to each other. Elizabeth was in Washington DC at the time as an intern for Lauryn Prattes Events so they were long distance for a while and their favorite thing to do was breakfast together. We wanted to tie in their love for breakfast with starting their engagement session at Skaneateles Bakery for some coffee to warm up before braving the cold for photos!

We wandered around Skaneateles and were reminded of how much we love this little town, so many cute little nooks for photos! We ended the photoshoot with champagne that Elizabeth did calligraphy on! What a beautiful keepsake!

Their wedding is this spring at Owera Vineyards and they will be continuing the brunch theme along with their love of blues! I love how it ties in to what makes them unique!
