Rachel and Shane’s wedding day was unreal! Perfection!! One of those days you don’t want to end because it’s just so amazing! Shane & Rachel are 2 of the most genuine and kind people…so put them together and everyone around them feels so loved! Plus it was at one of our favorite venues, Farm at Cottrell Lake so it just added to the perfection! 

Their ceremony was at Shane’s family’s church in Scranton, PA and then everyone headed to the reception at the Farm at Cottrell Lake, one of my top barn wedding venues! You have to experience the magic of the farm to understand what we are talking about but believe us when we say it’s truly a slice of heaven on earth! Melissa & Brian, the venue owners, are the sweetest and treat every wedding like their own in the way they care about their couples and the guests. Their attention to detail is unmatched and it’s truly the best! 

We could see the thunderstorm brewing in the distance so we knew we didn’t have too much time for outdoor photos…the bridal party was incredible and we made it happen! Then we took some more photos as the rain came down in the one barn that can be used for a ceremony! It’s a beautiful white washed barn with hay bales and twinkling lights! We promise as your wedding photographers that rain doesn’t scare us and we will still get you amazing photos even if Mother Nature gives us rain…just trust us!The rain stopped just in time for cocktail hour with the delicious food from Constantino’s Catering (my mouth is watering just thinking about it!!) 

One of the best parts of the day was after cocktail hour when Rachel went inside the farmhouse to “freshen up” and came out with a whole new dress look! Shane’s reaction was THE BEST!! 

The party continued in the barn as everyone danced the night away…including Shane’s friend who couldn’t be there but was there in cardboard form 😉
