This was such a special wedding to get to photograph and be a part of! I met Deanna and Kevin a year ago up in the Adirondack’s the day after Kevin popped the question & they got engaged!! We had mutual friends from Arrowhead Camp and after taking some engagement photos of them, we went out to dinner & they introduced me to the deliciousness of poutine! A little over a month later, I met Deanna’s brother Paul at Arrowhead Camp and our introduction was because of being Deanna & Kevin’s wedding photographer! So over the past year, I’ve spent a lot of time getting to know Deanna & Kevin as family and what a joy it was to be able to photograph their wedding day! 

Deanna got ready at her parent’s home in Syracuse as everyone was busy little bees getting everything ready! I love how all the details are so classic & elegant. Kevin sent in Deanna’s favorite Starbuck’s drink when they arrived before the first look! What a guy! Their first look together in the living room was so sweet. Kevin’s face said it all! So much love! It was raining outside so our plans for photos changed to inside so we rearranged the living room for family photos before the ceremony! 

The ceremony was at the First Ukrainian Pentecostal Church in Syracuse where Deanna grew up. So many couples are hesitant to doing a first look because they want the reaction of when the groom sees his bride walking down the aisle but I promise, there’s still a reaction! Kevin couldn’t contain his emotion as he watched Deanna walk down the aisle! I loved how all the parent’s prayed over the couple during the ceremony, what a blessing! 

Tanya, Deanna’s sister in law, is a florist and she did such an amazing job with flowers!! So much prettiness! Traditions at the Links was a beautiful location to host the celebration…complete with the most delicious Ukrainian desserts!! There was singing and games and lots of fellowship! The Confetti Photo Booth was a huge hit for guests! We love the add on that gives the couples an awesome guest book…it prints out 2 copies, one for the guests to take home & one to put in the guest book!! The backdrop was created by Tanya and was so perfect!! 

The sun peeked out right at the end of the reception, just in time for portraits!! Hooray! Everyone loved the bubble guns…bridal party photos should be fun!
