Laura & Paul are the type of people that immediately feel like you’ve been friends with forever…they are so laid back, kind and caring and are so much fun to be around! Last summer when these two drove down from Connecticut for their engagement session and I knew their wedding was going to be amazing! Sarah & Paige had the honor of getting to photograph their summer wedding at the Farm at Cottrell Lake and I had tears as I edited the photos!! We don’t ever take lightly what an honor it is to be chosen to document someone’s wedding day!
Daddy/Daughter First Look in a Rustic Farmhouse
Laura & Paul chose to get married at The Farm at Cottrell Lake, the little slice of heaven near Scranton, PA. You can tell how relaxed of a bride Laura was by seeing her enjoying her mimosa in the farmhouse’s gorgeous antique tub! One of the special moments throughout the day was Laura and her Dad’s first look in the farm house…she’s a daddy’s girl so she knew that and their father/daughter dance would be emotional.
And can we talk about how CUTE their ring bearer and flower girl are! Oh my goodness! I love how Monica of Monzie’s Floral designed the floral arrangements with pops of rich color but soft colors to make it dainty too. Monica, you amaze me!!
