This year is the 10th anniversary of the Montrose Chocolate & Wine Festival & it will be taking place this coming Saturday, May 20th. We block off a whole street, fill it with unique vendors, wineries, good food, and bring in the community stage for an afternoon of fun! Each year we raise over $30,000 for local charities, isn’t that amazing? It’s not just a good time but it’s also supporting awesome causes like our local library, hospital and Interfaith to name a few.
I’ve been on the committee for three years now and I truly think this year is going to be the best yet. Our team has poured our hearts into making this a high end festival that you will love coming to! We hand selected vendors that carry unique, high quality items, food vendors that offer a variety of types of food, made sure that there were lots of chocolate & sweets and are bringing back bands that everyone has loved in the past!
We have people coming from Philadelphia, NY state and I’m sure places we haven’t even heard yet! I wanted to create a quick reference guide of things to do for those traveling in to spend the day with us!
Shopping //
From the Heart: A little gift shop on the main street, Twyla has been open over 10 years & has a wonderful selection of unique gifts for everyone. She will have a booth at the festival too.
Chocolates by Leopold: The shop that inspired the start of the festival, get your chocolate fix at their shop or at one of their stands in the festival!
Lily Pad: Personally, Lily Pad Florist & Gift Shop is one of my favorites, I love flowers! They have clothing & gifts in the back! Their booth at the festival features their famous flower crowns!! It’s a huge crowd favorite & they sell out quickly! Get yours before they are gone!
