There’s no words for watching your friend you’ve known since childhood become a mama. Sweet Emalyn joined the world a few months early so they spent some time in the NICU. I looked forward to the updates and photos and was counting down the days until they were all home together! That day came last week after 39 days in the NICU…they are now all home and learning life as a family of 3!
It was such a blessing to be able to go meet little Emmy, see Madie and photograph their family together in the home they are renovating! Emmy is so tiny and it makes you believe more in God as you hold a little miracle in your arms!
Emalyn’s middle name is in memory of Cameron’s brother who loved to play guitar and I love that we were able to incorporate his guitar in photos with her. Cameron also loves to play guitar and it was amazing how as soon as he started to play, Emmy just calmed right down. He played for her all throughout pregnancy so it’s a special thing to see how she reacts to it now.
I am so happy for you Madie & Cameron and I can’t wait to watch your family grow for years to come (and I’ll always be there with a camera in hand to capture it!)
