Some of the prettiest venues here in Northeast PA can only accommodate a small amount of guests so you’re one of the lucky few that get to experience the beauty of a wedding there, if you are having an intimate wedding! Whether you have always wanted a small wedding or have readjusted your wedding dream sails to be able to still get married amidst a pandemic, you shouldn’t have to settle for anything less than perfect for your wedding day. Intimate weddings can be just the two of you, or a small group of family & friends. You can have a ceremony and then a dinner after to celebrate, even doing a first dance & cake cutting to keep some of the traditions!
One thing to keep in mind as you plan is that wherever you get married, whoever is there, at the end of the day you will be married!! And that’s the best and most important thing!! Chippy White Table
Chippy White Table is located in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania and is a sweet little space for petite weddings! The Chippy Chicks can create a magical space for you & your love, along with up to 25 guests total.
Creekside Gardens
A beautiful greenhouse space for your mini ceremony with greenery all around! Gardens are such a beautiful space and Creekside offers this unique opportunity to get married in one! Ashlee from Every Little Thing LLC helps you plan your wedding as their in house event planner! It’s simple to plan and beautiful!
Pocono Palms
Pocono Palms is a wedding and event venue located in Cresco, PA, owned by two sisters. A former church, Pocono Palms is currently nearing the end of extensive renovations that began in the summer of 2019. The venue features an outdoor garden ceremony site and cocktail area and a large, indoor reception hall with stunning archways, lush greenery and custom-built tables.
The Loft : Scranton

The Loft is a multi-functional event venue with a elegant & industrial vibe located in downtown Scranton, PA. Alisa Tong is an award winning celebrant that makes every single ceremony feel like artwork. Truly she makes it so so special and she has created this haven in her backyard in the Poconos for couples to come and celebrate their love! It’s absolutely breathtaking!
The Lodge at Raven Creek
The Lodge at Raven Creek is a rustic outdoor wedding venue near Bloomsburg, PA! It has this beautiful white chapel by the pond that you could hold your mini ceremony in front of or host an intimate family dinner inside after! It’s a bed and breakfast so you can stay the night!
Rosemont Inn Bed & Breakfast
The Rosemont Inn Bed & Breakfast is located in the quaint and historical town of Montrose and sits on the top of the hill overlooking the courthouse. It’s innkeepers are friendly and will do everything they can to make your day or weekend special! There is in house catering by Darrow Catering which makes it perfect for dinner for two or a small family dinner after the wedding!
Gather a few friends or family for an intimate early morning ceremony in the garden or porch, then enjoy a lovely bridal breakfast together on the stone patio or next to the fireplace in our elegant dining room.
Your Backyard or Friend’s Backyard
You don’t have to go far to find a beautiful space to say “I do”! It could happen in your backyard or a family member or friend’s backyard! Keep it simple and host a bbq or picnic or go all out and get a tent & fill it with flowers! We love that backyard weddings have such a special tie to the couple! We got married in my parent’s backyard and it couldn’t have been more perfect for us! It was laid back and fun!
