As we rode over to the family farm after their wedding ceremony to take photos, I asked them to tell me their story & what a sweet one it is! Trevor & Alicia both grew up on dairy farms and Trevor’s family used to do “Day on A Dairy Farm” as a dairy promotion, and Alicia was a dairy maid with his sister, Mariah. He was 6, she was 8 and they saw each other again a few years later at another dairy promotion but then didn’t see each other until two years ago. Trevor’s mom suggested one day that “Alicia would be a good girl for you” and he decided to send her a Facebook message. She was surprised to get a message from him & admitted that she still thought of him as a little boy & “didn’t want to be his first heartbreak”. He asked her to dinner and she didn’t respond…for FOUR months! One day she was looking back through her messages to find a message for a friend & realized she never responded. After some facebook stalking, she realized that he was cute & had grown up so replied with “How does Friday night sound?”. Needless to say, Trevor was shocked to get that message but they had their first date…and the rest is history! What is meant to be will always find a way! 

I knew Trevor in elementary school, we were in some of the same home rooms & had a lot of the same friends. It was so special to be able to photograph his wedding, I am hoping this is the first of many old classmate’s weddings I get to photograph! 

Alicia & Trevor got married with their family by their side at the Rosemont Inn Bed & Breakfast in Montrose, PA on the first warm day we’ve had this spring! The sun was shining as everyone got ready and they said their vows on the front porch! It was such a sweet day, I love how they had it with just their family and kept it intimate! Their little girl Olivia is the cutest little one and stole the show a few times…everyone adores her!
