Elizabeth from Paper Crane Calligraphy is a boss lady! She made this amazing day happen from an idea that Jess from Guess It’s Jess Blog and her had and my heart is so full! This Galentine’s Day 2020 Weddings Vendor Kickoff Party was for some of the best of the best wedding vendors here in the Syracuse, NY area as a way to connect before the busy wedding season begins. We see each other in passing at weddings but when do we actually get to sip some champagne and talk with each other? Connection is vital in all areas of life and being in the wedding industry is a crazy profession, it’s so important to have community with others doing the same thing you are!

It also is a great way to meet new vendors that our couple’s might need their services. I met so many new people today that I have already shared with several of our 2020 brides this year because I knew they were looking for a recommendation for makeup or cake!

I say it all the time, vendors who have worked together before will create your wedding dream team. There’s something so special about having a vendor team that knows what to expect from the other vendors without you having to be the middle person, they just know from working together before!

Anyway, back to our party! It was a lovely day at 315 Beauty Bar (it’s right next to Destiny USA!) with all these gals. My cheeks hurt from smiling so much and that’s a sign of a day well spent! She Rents Vintage decked out the space with cute rentals with lots of little touches of calligraphy from Paper Crane Calligraphy. Stacey from The Cakeshop CNY had a fun cookie decorating station, where most of us learned that cookie decorating wasn’t our calling 😉 over lots of laughter and help from Stacey! Annie from Annie Ross Asthetics had a lash bar where you could get your lashes done! Kayleigh from Half Moon Bakery (and Little Cake Artist) made delicious and beautiful macarons and Oops A Daisy made the cute little bouquets for everyone to take home! Little Cow Ice Cream and Little Yard Farm wowed everyone with the drink bar and delicious food (the kale salad was delicious!) It was truly a team effort of everyone showing off what they do best!!
