Leah & Matt’s wedding was the very first wedding at the new venue in Montrose area, Octagon Barn at Woodburne! 4 years in the making for this new venue to come to life and their wedding was the perfect first wedding to have in the space! Leah & her family transformed the newly renovated barn into a wedding dream space! The girls got ready above Howntown Furniture & Lydia’s Bakeshop, you could hear the laughter as you walked up the stairs, it was such a fun group of girls! It felt like a fairytale as Leah stepped into her gown with her mom & bridesmaids helping her get just perfect for her wedding day! The guys got ready at Octagon Barn at Woodburne in the grooms lounge! The basement of the barn is set up for both the guys & girls to be able to have their own space to get ready! It’s beautiful and each lounge has a private bathroom with lots of space for hair & makeup!

The girls walked down the street to the church for the ceremony, past their shop, Hometown Finds and stopping traffic as they crossed Church Street 🙂 Leah & Matt had handwritten their vows to each other and Leah’s grandpa prayed during the heartfelt ceremony. There was moments of happy tears, singing and joy! Everyone sang a hymn together and it was beautiful to hear everyone’s voices fill the old church!

Octagon Barn at Woodburne is located about 10 minutes from Montrose, on the North side of Dimock 4 corners, right off from 29 North so it is easy to get to! From the moment you step onto the property, you feel welcome and everything is thought of to make sure the wedding is perfect! It is heated and has air conditioning, making it perfect year round for any event!

Leah’s sister, Lydia, made the desserts for the reception and Catering the Wright Way made a delicious dinner! The bar in the silo was a hit and everyone loved being able to go outside on the huge wrap around deck to get photos and enjoy the view! Congratulations Leah & Matt!!
