Alexey and Olya’s wedding day was woven with beautiful Russian and Ukrainian wedding traditions to honor their family’s heritage and it was a beautiful day at Greek Peak Mountain Resort in Cortland, NY. From the moment you walked into Olya’s getting ready room, you could feel the love and kindness from her family. They were so welcoming and beaming with pride and excitement for their daughter and sister. Her sister’s helped her get ready to go meet her husband at their first look.

Alexey’s reaction to seeing his bride was absolutely priceless. First looks aren’t for everyone but you can’t beat having those few minutes alone with your love and being able to soak in the moment without hundreds of eyes watching you! The Neske’s Video team was there with us to capture their day and we enjoyed wandering around the resort following the sun to get their bridal portraits before the ceremony overlooking the ski mountain. Their pastor led a beautiful ceremony of worship and marriage which led into the most relaxed and laughter filled reception!

Ukrainian weddings are known for their dessert tables and this one did not disappoint!! So much yumminess!
