Amanda found our instagram last year through our tulip photos and a few weeks later, the happiest inquiry popped into our email from her wedding planner! Amanda and Matt are full of contagious joy and laughter, from the very first conversation I knew this was going to be an amazing wedding!

Amanda tells their love story so well :

Matt and I first met at Binghamton University in Spring 2015, when Matt went to his friends’ dorm who happened to live on my floor. Later in the semester on a night out, I approached Matt, on State Street (string of bars in downtown Binghamton) to say “Hey – Thanks for friending me on Facebook!” Over the next remaining weeks of the semester, Matt tried his best to close the deal, but was unsuccessful (lol).

Fast forward to the fall, before classes started, we reconnected on State Street once again. We shared a few drinks, some laughs, and a first kiss on September 1, 2015. Once classes began the following day, our serendipitous schedules made us inseparable… Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays kibitzing in our Yiddish 101 class , and Tuesday and Thursdays giggling in our Stand-Up Comedy class.

Over the past almost 7 years we moved into our first apartment together in NYC and enjoy watching movies while eating take out (for me:italian food with red wine, and for Matt: japanese food and beer) on the couch.

When we got engaged, one of the first questions we were asked was, “WHERE are you going to get married?” We both have been to a ton of weddings in the tri-state area, and no town in NJ really felt special or excited us… HOWEVER, Binghamton holds such a special place in our hearts and truly felt like a no-brainer. Our closest friends are from college and we are SO excited we get to relive our college days for a weekend with our favorite people!!!!
