Jessica and Ryan are the type of people that make you laugh and feel like best friends as soon as you meet them! They came up to my bridal shop last summer to meet me and then again for their engagement session so I felt like I was showing up as a friend to their wedding which I love! When Hunter & I arrived at Montdale, we were greeted by Ryan’s Dad & Step Mom and found Ryan finishing getting ready down by the lake. He was anxious to see Jessica and was pacing while waiting for the ceremony to begin…so sweet!
A bagpiper started playing when Jessica arrived and watching her walk down the aisle with her dad, with tears in her eyes, it was hard to not tear up as well! It was a family friend who married them and it’s always fun to hear the stories during the ceremony of the memories they have shared together, I think it’s so special to have someone you love marry you.
It was all jokes & laughter during portraits by the lake as the guests enjoyed cocktail hour! We love having fun bridal parties!
My favorite part of the day was during the speeches and getting to hear how Jessica & Ryan met…Ryan wouldn’t stop asking his friend (who happened to be Jessica’s sisters roommate) about this beautiful red head at the gym (for years!) and finally they started talking. It didn’t take long for everyone to realize that this was the real deal, they made each other happy in a way no one else could!
