Kelsey & Ryan met the Kelsey’s first day of freshman year at Liberty University…within a few weeks they were going out on dates & taking each other home to meet their families around the holidays. These two are the type of people that make you feel so loved & welcomed, they are so calm & I feel like they live each moment to the fullest. After their engagement session last summer, it’s been fun to follow their last year of college through Instagram!

Getting Ready Surrounded by Family and Friends

It was a fun surprise to get to see my friend Mandy from Pebbles Hair Designs doing hair! I love getting to work with vendors turned friends on wedding days! Kelsey’s mom had flowers throughout the house for the occasion and the kitchen was full of goodies to keep everyone full & happy!

When I arrived at Kelsey’s childhood home the morning of the wedding, there was just a peace about the whole house, everyone was getting their hair & makeup done, everyone was calm and truly just enjoying each other’s company.

When it was time to get in her dress, Kelsey’s sister & mom helped her in and held back tears as they got her ready to head to the first look with Ryan! Her hairpiece was made out of parts of her mom’s veil and Ryan’s gift to her was a dainty pearl necklace and earrings that went perfectly with her dress.

Perfect Scenery for First Look Portraits

They chose to have their first look at the church they got married in and then we headed to the venue, Barn at Glistening Pond, for more photos and to meet the bridal party for photos! It was a hot day so the air conditioned barn was a welcome place to relax after the photos! I love all of the cute places for photos around the barn, the owners just keep creating new vignettes and it’s stunning!

It was such a beautiful day celebrating their marriage! Congratulations Ryan & Kelsey!
