Lauren and Alex met when they started law school at the University of Baltimore nearly 5 years ago…mutual friends introduced them during orientation week & then fate kicked in & they ended up in the same law class section meaning that they had every class together for the first year. They sat together on the first day of classes and the sparks flew…within a few weeks they were officially dating! Since they both were in law school, they understood what the other was going through and could support each other in a way that others couldn’t. Now they are both first year associates at law firms in the Baltimore area and getting married this November at the Mountain Branch Golf Club in Joppa, Maryland! 

I photographed their friend’s, Mike & Liz’s, wedding last summer & Alex was one of the groomsmen so when they got engaged Lauren emailed me saying that Alex remembered me from their wedding! What a compliment coming from a groomsmen who I usually think aren’t a big fan of the photographers & photo taking part of the groomsmen job! 😉 

We met at Salt Springs State Park for their engagement photos this past weekend which ended up being a very cold morning but these two made modeling in 30 degree weather look easy! They were so sweet to drive up from Baltimore for the session & it made me realize how lucky I am to have clients that appreciate my work enough to make a long drive to be in front of my camera! I cannot wait to head to Maryland this Fall for their wedding!!
