Angel & Jon are hands down one of the most joyful couple’s I’ve met…and what makes it even better is that I know that joy is shining straight from their love for Christ! You can see the fruits of the Spirit in their actions and their love for each other. They met each other while serving at Arrowhead Bible Camp which is a camp here in Northeast Pa for handicap adults…Angel has spent 9 summers there, and she knew as soon as she saw Jon that she was in trouble! Her heart knew that he was special so she invited him as her plus one to a wedding. They had a great time but Angel told herself that it was friends, nothing more and to just be content…well within a few days Jon was pulling her aside at camp to tell her that he was interested. They dated for a month before the summer was over which meant Jon headed back to Liberty University in Virginia and Angel headed back to Cedarville University in Ohio and long distance dating began! I think it’s again a testimony to how God works because long distance relationships aren’t for the faint of heart but Angel & Jon make time to FaceTime everyday and usually get to see each other once a month. Last month, they were both back in Northeast PA at her parent’s home and Angel’s mom took her out to run an errand to get her out of the house. When they got back, Angel walked up onto the front porch to see Jon down on one knee asking her to be his wife! I can only imagine the pure giddiness & giggles & sweet moments that followed that question! 

Angel grew up going to the Harford Fair and was so excited that Jon would be able to come this year! I loved getting to walk around with them as Jon got to experience the fair for the first time! Such a fun day! Angel & Jon, I love you guys already & cannot wait to see what God does in your relationship!!
