It’s an exciting time when you have the appointment to go try on wedding dresses! You might have some nervous butterflies or you might be bouncing around with excitement, either way, here at Seneca’s Bridal, our goal is to help you find a dress you feel beautiful in. We believe dresses are meant to be laughed in, loved in and danced in. Ultimately we know you could get married in a paper bag and your husband is going to think you’re beautiful but there’s something special about picking out that perfect dress to wear on the day you promise to love each other forever. 

We have compiled a list of things to think about bringing (or in some cases not bringing) to your bridal appointment: 

1. An open mind…you don’t know what a dress will look like until you try it on! Certain styles look different on each person so you have to try it on to narrow down what you like! 
2. A small group of honest, yet positive & loving people to encourage you in your decision. If you choose to bring guests with you, be picky about who comes. This is supposed to be a fun experience, not one you dread because you’re afraid of what Aunt Sally is going to say. There are no rules of who HAS to be there. You want your closest friends who will tell you honestly what they think but in a loving way. 
3. A strapless bra is a good idea to bring along. Some of the dresses have built in support and some you can wear with a regular bra but a strapless bra covers all the bases. 
4. Pictures of your wedding planning so far-we love getting to see photos of your venue, colors, flowers, etc. We enjoy getting to play a part in creating your dream wedding day!
