Lexy & Jake had the wedding of the year in Montrose, PA when they transformed the Diaz family property into a stunning wedding venue for the weekend! If you know any of the Diaz’ you know they make you feel welcome and that was so evident on the wedding day. Everyone felt welcome and loved as they came to celebrate Lexy & Jake! Lexy & the girls got ready in the house and the guys got ready up in the barn! It was a hive of activity as everyone got hair & makeup done, the tent got decorated and florals got set up, food was prepared!

The vendor team was incredible as they transformed the backyard into Lexy’s Pinterest board 🙂 The ceremony took place down by the willow trees with wooden benches and a floral lined aisle way and a gorgeous floral arbor by Jodi at Lily Pad Florists in Montrose. Laura from Cadence Music played violin for the ceremony and Lucas Taylor officiated. It was a lovely ceremony before everyone walked over to the orchard & tent for cocktail hour! There was a raw bar, drinks and lots of good conversation! Most weddings we photograph, we don’t know many guests so this was a treat to be able to get portraits of people we knew! The bridal party did a loop and a stop at the VFW for drinks in the limo before coming back to finish photos & join the party!

Bianca & the team from Stunning & Brilliant Events was out of this world! They were so hands on and steps ahead all day long! The reception tent was a clear top tent from Big Top Rentals and then beautifully decorated by Pretty Little Vintage Rentals & Lily Pad Florists! The baby breath clouds were so stunning in person with the candles lit on the farmhouse tables! The whole thing was so dreamy! I loved the way they did entrances! Lexy & Jake were introduced first as the judges for the evening then each couple of their bridal party were instructed to prepare a “performance” for their entrance! It was hilarious and everyone went in full force! Lexy & Jake had white boards and scored everyone and then picked a final winner! Such a fun interactive way to do introductions! Lexy & her dad surprised everyone with a fun choreographed father daughter dance and then dollar dance kicked off dancing. Then came the EPIC thunderstorm! Under the clear tent, you could see the rain drops falling — it was a little wild with the wind but an unforgettable moment with everyone gathered together underneath! The party really started after that with the dance floor open! It was such a special day and we are so honored to have been able to photograph it for Lexy & Jake!
