You all are already swooning right?! Jake sent us an email back in February, telling us about his plan to surprise Grace with a proposal on Hatch Lake in Eaton, NY in May! We immediately were on board and couldn’t wait!! Hatch Lake holds a special place for their families and it was so special to have the big question be popped lakeside with family watching from the lake house! Eaton isn’t far from Cazenovia, NY so we have driven through on our way home to PA a few times but never seen the lake, such a beautiful spot!!

Jake and the family were busy bees when Paul arrived, getting all set up and ready for Grace to arrive! Grace arrived and Jake walked her down the petal path to the lake where more rose petals, the ring, and some champagne awaited her! Jake got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him! She of course said yes and was so excited!! Their family and dog came running out to shower congratulations on them and see the ring! It makes a special time even more special to have your loved ones there! Grace’s Dad gave a toast to the happy couple inside the lake house and then we headed back outside for some family photos & couple photos!

This is a good post to send to your significant other as a hint that this is the type of thing you would love…having photos of your proposal is so sweet & fun!! We love being a part of proposals! Congratulations Jake & Grace!
