Meanwhile the guests can enjoy the beautiful country setting that is located in Maine, NY, just under 30 minutes from Binghamton and Vestal NY. It is close to home yet you feel in a different world in this beautiful space! 

With several unique ceremony locations, you're sure to find one perfectly tailored for your day. Say I do in the pavilion or in the open field or even in the barn! 

As you walk the grounds, you’ll capture photos that will grace your home for decades to come. You’ll dance the night away inside the original barn light with twinkly lights and elegant chandeliers. Your guests will feel right at home in how you so beautifully decorated the inside and thought of every last detail.

THE FARM HOUSE

The luxurious farmhouse is like a home away from home for your wedding weekend. It provides the perfect bridal suite and luxurious accommodations for the bridal party to stay Friday night and get ready there on Saturday. You may have up to 10 overnight guests. The Farmhouse is fully air conditioned and features three bedrooms, three bathrooms, a gas fireplace, an open floor plan and large kitchen that is ideal for entertaining. You and your guests will also enjoy amazing sunsets from the wrap around porch.

THE Main Barn

This barn makes your jaw drop as you drive up to it! The welcoming entrance with the grand doors is just the beginning the barn ... once inside the high ceilings and blank canvas allow for you to create the wedding reception of your dreams!! There are endless possibilities for decorating and plenty of room for all the epic dancing that will happen throughout the evening!

There is a gorgeous farmhouse for the girls or the guys to get ready in.  It thoughtfully created to ensure you have everything you need while getting ready & feel comfortable while doing it! It makes the day so much more relaxed if you get ready on location! You get to enjoy the little slice of heaven even longer! :) There are local airbnb's for the guys to get ready in if the girls are using the farmhouse! 

A FEW OF OUR MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT SHOOTING WEDDINGS AT OAk and Lace Weddings

Where do you recommend taking our family portraits?

There's so many beautiful spots for photos at Oak and Lace Wedding venue but some we really love and think would be perfect for family photos are: 
- In front of the main barn doors 
-In the field 
-In front of the corn silos 

What time should we schedule our ceremony to begin?

Oak and Lace is wonderful because everything can be in one location! If you are getting married off location, you need to remember to account for travel time to the ceremony & back from the ceremony in your timeline. For an on location wedding, 4pm is a great starting ceremony time, then 4:45pm for family photos, 5pm cocktail hour starts and dinner is around 6:30pm! 

What is Plan B if the
weather is bad?

You don't have to worry about rainy days at Oak and Lace Weddings. You can have an outdoor ceremony in the field or in the wooded meadow but there is also a beautiful ceremony pavilion. The main reception barn is completely closed in so you don't have to worry about rain for the reception. 

How long should we plan to take bride & groom portraits?

We recommend planning the following for portraits: 
Family Photos : 20 minutes 
Bridal Party Photos : 20-25 minutes 
Couple Photos : 30- 45 minutes
(as long as you'll give us!) 
Sunset Photos: 10 minutes at golden hour 

What other vendors do you recommend?

Choosing your wedding vendors is so important! Our top tips are 1. Make sure the vendor you choose is good at communication!! 2. Choose vendors off from recommendations from other vendors or friends! Recommendations make sure you know they are awesome!
