It all started when Meagan’s brother Mark & his friend burst into the house one day after work to tell Meagan that they knew the perfect guy for her! She declined an invite to go out with them but that special guy decided to text Meagan. He won her over by insisting that she needed a real Christmas tree for her new apartment, not a fake one and off they went on their first date to find the perfect tree! Love at Christmas time is such a magical thing! Now almost 5 years later, these two are getting married! 

We photographed Meagan’s brothers wedding last fall and can’t wait for her wedding this fall! Meagan introduced her brother & his wife so how sweet that the tables turned for Mark to introduce Meagan to her husband! There’s nothing like a sibling bond, you know what each other need even when the other doesn’t! 

Chris had planned this amazing proposal to take place up in a hot air balloon up in the Finger Lakes …. but then he decided he should ask Meagan If she’d ever want to go on a hot air balloon ride …. Meagan said NO WAY! So Chris quickly cancelled the hot air balloon booking and opted for a romantic picnic on the getaway to propose! So sweet! The ring is a family heirloom and is beautiful! 

As we were finishing up the engagement photos at her parent’s property, Chris picked Meagan some wild daisies so of course we had to include them! Always looking for ways to make his girl smile!!
