Ashlynn & Mark’s engagement session in Forest Lake took place on a perfect golden hour evening at Mark’s parents farm and their horse & pony along with their dog joined in for full family photos!! We love including pet babies in engagement photos whenever we can, it makes them even more special!

Ashlynn & Mark’s sister Meagan went to school together and Meagan introduced Ashlynn & Mark…and now she is gaining her best friend as a sister!! How fun is that!! Ashlynn was hesitant at first when Meagan wanted to introduce them but Mark won her over quickly 😉 Mark drove almost 2 hours to Ashlynn’s parents home to meet her parents and pick her up for their first date and they fell in love! Ashlynn’s Dad always joked as she was growing up that the man she would one day marry would have to be ok with Buttons (her pony she got for her birthday when she was younger) coming along … since they’ve been together, Mark has built Buttons 2 barns and also welcomed King into the family so needless to say, he’s accepted Ashlynn AND her horses!

We are so excited to photograph Ashlynn & Mark’s wedding in September right back here on the farm! It’s going to be such an amazing day!
