Olivia and Adrian’s intimate and refined Skaneateles Lake NY Wedding was a time for the couple to celebrate their love with those closest to them. Opting for a smaller style gathering ensured they were able to make special memories with each guest and family member. The stunning couple was able to enjoy their day with low stress and focus on beginning their next chapter together! 

Their Love Story

    Reflecting back to when it all began, Olivia and Adrian first met on the dating app Bumble! Neither of them were big into dating apps, but once Adrian moved from Michigan, it was three days before they matched and began talking. Their first date was at the NY State Fair and they enjoyed their time together so much, Olivia and Adrian went on a second date just a few days after the first. Within two weeks they were official and the rest is history! 

The Wedding Day

    A beautiful sunny and clear blue May sky was the perfect backdrop to compliment the couple’s vision of their Skaneateles Lake Wedding located on Olivia’s grandfather’s lakefront property. Just from being in the space, it was clear the home held a lot of sentiment to the couple and their families which made capturing these sacred moments such an honor and privilege. In a day full of sentiment, the couple opted to save their first look for the aisle which added a fun anticipation and excitement for the day. 

     Overlooking the blue waters of Skaneateles Lake and surrounded by 35 of their closest family and friends, Olivia and Adrian shared personal vows that displayed their love for one another and commitment to forever. Flower petals were thrown as the newlyweds made their way back down the aisle before stopping for a stunning dip kiss! The couple had a gap in between the end of the ceremony and cocktail hour so they were able to get all the desired family photos and take the time to find the perfect photo ops in downtown Skaneateles! 

    Once the couple returned, cocktail hour began. Everyone enjoyed talking with the couple, reminiscing and sharing moments from the day. There was a sweet polaroid scrapbook for guests to take photos and share nuggets of wisdom with the newlyweds. Olivia had a shorter dress for the reception, so, after a quick outfit change, the newly married couple took their place on the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife!

    Olivia and Adrian’s Skaneateles Lake wedding was a simple, intimate, and refined celebration with those closest to them. Having a smaller wedding allowed the couple to spend more time focused on the purpose for their day – their marriage! So much stress and overwhelm was not on their shoulders because their day was simple and sweet.
