Angie & Eric got married a few years ago and dreamed of photos on the river but because of the weather, they couldn’t happen on the wedding day! So they decided to do it as an anniversary gift to themselves and it was absolutely precious! We loved it for several reasons but first: Angie & Eric are in love more than they were on their wedding day and we love seeing marriages thrive!! Not just survive but THRIVE!! And second: we love that they value photos of their love and chose to do it in a spot that is special to both of them!! Angie & Eric love being outside and exploring together (with their dogs!) so this session was perfect for them!!

Paige met them on the riverside and they had a friend there to drive her around in another boat! We cannot get over how beautiful golden hour is on the water!! Eric surprised Angie with ordering her a replica of her original wedding bouquet from Monzie’s Floral…how sweet is that?!

The session finished up with some fishing where the dogs played in the water and the Canadian goose joined in on the fun!!

We cannot recommend anniversary photos enough … whether you get dressed up in original wedding day outfits or not, it’s the perfect way to fall in love all over again 😉
