A Midsummer Dream July Wedding in Auburn, NY
High school sweethearts Ally and Jake threw an unforgettable midsummer dream July wedding at the Emerson Park Pavilion in Auburn, NY. Since these two have been together since their freshman year in high school, guests and family were so comfortable together which helped create a seamless day! Everyone was excited to see Ally and Jake begin forever together and we felt so lucky to document it all.
The Love Story
These two have been friends since seventh grade and after a few years of flirting, Jake finally won Ally over by ninth grade and they began dating. Throughout all their years together, they both knew they had found their person. In April of 2023 Jake popped the question to Ally on a sunset boat ride during their family trip to Aruba! Afterwards, Ally’s family surprised her and joined the happy couple for a big dinner to celebrate their engagement.
A Dream July Wedding
Before Ally and Jake knew it, July 14, 2024 arrived and the morning of the big day was here. Ally was hidden away with her bridesmaids, mother, future mother-in-law, and two special ladies- her grandmothers! One of our favorite parts of this wedding day was Ally’s idea of doing a first look with her grandmothers. The tears were flowing! It was such a special and rare moment to have so many generations together, it was so pure. Click here to see our reel of the grandmother’s first look! While the ladies were tending to every last detail, Jake and his guys were relaxed and ready for the celebrations to begin.
Next to the water and surrounded by their closest friends and family, Ally and Jake committed their lives together on a beautiful midsummer dream July wedding day. The ceremony consisted of tears, laughter, and heartfelt vows with a kiss to seal the deal! Guests shuffled into cocktail for some refreshment while the newlyweds posed for their first portraits as Mr. & Mrs. Up next, the DJ pumped the music to welcome the wedding party along with Ally and Jake to the reception. After the applause settled, the best man and maid of honor shared funny stories and heartfelt sentiments which guests happily toasted too.
The newlyweds stayed side by side all night while they danced their hearts out with friends and family as the midsummer dream July wedding sun went down. It was such an unforgettable summer day celebrating Ally and Jake starting their forever!
