K & J / Pennsylvania Summer Camp Wedding
You know those movies about summer camp and if you’re anything like me, you always wished you could go to summer camp! This wedding made me feel like I was at summer camp & it was even better than I imagined! 🙂 Kyleigh & Jon chose Trails End Camp in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania as the venue for their wedding so that all of their guests could come in for the weekend. They live in Brooklyn, NY , so many of their friends were traveling hours to come celebrate so this allowed them to spend the whole weekend with them…complete with bonfires, talent show, zip lining and playing lots of games! Everyone stayed in cabins, it was truly like summer camp!!
Kyleigh and Jon have been together for nearly six years and they bring out the best in each other. From the parent speeches and from hearing little bits of conversations throughout the day, you can tell that their loved ones love to see them together. Kyleigh proposed to Jon & then threw a surprise party!! How fun is that!
One of my favorite moments of the day was Kyleigh & Jon’s first look at the edge of the lake…you could hear the volleyball game going in the distant background, the water was glistening and it was time for just the two of them to enjoy each other. So sweet.
Kyleigh is a dancer so the dance party reception was SO FUN!!! Trails End was such a beautiful place with so many unique places and Katharine from Fox Hill Farm made it even prettier with her floral magic!!
