Dylan & Katherine are high school sweethearts and how they met makes me smile every time I hear the story! Dylan went to Montrose, Katherine went to Blue Ridge and one night Dylan was having dinner with the football team before the big game and Katherine was on the court playing volleyball. She rolled her ankle & ended up in the athletic trainers room when Dylan walked in with a plate of cookies! Seeing that she was in pain, he offered her cookies, hoping to offer a little bit of relief. Later that night, he sent her a Facebook message to ask her how she was doing…and they haven’t stopped talking since! A few weeks later, he asked her to be his homecoming date & girlfriend! 

Dylan planned the proposal to happen around their 4 year anniversary and the whole family was in on the little secret! He took Katherine up to Watkins Glen and got down on one knee on the trail “Lover’s Lane” to ask her to marry him! How sweet is that! 

I first met these two a few weeks after they got engaged because they modeled for a video photo shoot for me! After spending the day together, I was secretly hoping they would ask me to photograph their wedding because I loved them!! So I was really excited when I got a message from Katherine asking to meet to chat about wedding photography!! They chose Farm at Cottrell Lake as their wedding venue for their 2019 wedding! It’s going to be such a beautiful day!
