This year is the 11th annual Montrose Chocolate & Wine Festival, a fundraiser that raises over $30,000 every year for local charities! It is an afternoon of fun, yummy food, great wine, and live music! We close down a street in the historical town of Montrose and thousands of people find their way to join us.
The concept of a community chocolate festival began with a dream shared between the creative and motivated individuals in Montrose to offer a new weekend event. During 2007, several Susquehanna County wineries began to present chocolate truffles by Chocolates By Leopold flavored by their best wines. This classic pairing of chocolate and wine encouraged the inclusion of wine in the festival. The money raised has been given to support the new library, hospital and other charities in our area!
Do I need a ticket? YES!
Your $20 advanced sale ticket gains you entry for all-day UNLIMITED wine tasting, live music and access to our fabulous gourmet food, chocolate and art vendors. At the gate, you’ll receive a complimentary glass for wine tasting.
$20 advanced sale tickets are available online until Friday, 5/18. Tickets are also available at The Butler’s Pantry, NBT Bank and Chocolate By Leopold in Montrose!
