Marisa and Dallas both moved to Denver around the same time, Marisa from Philly and Dallas from Texas. They found themselves at the same BBQ and Marisa thought he was extremely handsome but first impression was he was “too manly” for her because she was listening to him talk to some guy friends. But she quickly realized that he was very charming and the polar opposites attracted! 🙂 They’ve been together ever since and just bought their first house in Colorado! On Saturday, all of their friends & family from Philadelphia, Minnesota, Texas, and Colorado all gathered at the Farm at Cottrell Lake to witness Marisa & Dallas say “I do”.

We’ve been looking forward to this wedding for almost a year as these two have been so sweet as they planned from afar and we got to work with several of our favorite vendors! Candice from Patchwork Planning helped Marisa plan the wedding, Chippy White Table & Monzie’s Floral transformed The Farm at Cottrell Lake into a beautiful fall reception space, and Epicurean Delight served delicious food!

A few hours before their ceremony, Marisa and Dallas had a first look with each other and spent a little bit in the beautiful lounge area (by Chippy White Table!) having a drink together! First looks aren’t for everyone but we love how they give the couple time alone together before the party starts! All of the bridal portraits were done before the ceremony so everyone was able to head right to cocktail hour after the family formals! Everyone loves that….you’ve spent months planning & all your favorite people are in one place so it’s nice to be able to get right to visiting & enjoying the yummy appetizers by Epicurean Delight Catering!
