Angel & I became friends because she got engaged and started following local photographers last summer. At the same time, I had been dreaming up doing a photo shoot at the Harford Fair so sent her a super random Instagram message asking if her & her fiancé would want to model. She said yes and we had the best time wandering around the Harford Fair snapping engagement photos. At the time she was living in Ohio…but then God did this crazy thing like only He can…He opened up doors for Angel & Jon to accept jobs at the camp here in Brackney where they met, get married, and move back to Pennsylvania all within 2 weeks right before the holidays. Let’s just say it’s been the best thing to have them so close! So thankful God connected us through Instagram, feels like we’ve been friends forever! 

Angel is truly talented…she opened her Etsy shop HandstoLearn that started out as a simple hobby and grew into a small business that she got to run out of her dorm room – in between life as a nursing major in college. Now she is expanding her business from the custom handwritten coffee mugs to other custom calligraphy pieces!

You’ve seen the fancy handwriting on save the dates, invites, envelopes, wedding signs, you name it all over Pinterest and secretly wished that your handwriting was that cute (maybe you were like me & even bought the calligraphy supplies in hopes that it would magically turn your handwriting beautiful, turns out that’s not what happens 😉 ) but alas it’s just not that easy. That’s where Angel comes in…she does custom orders all the time & would love to work with you to bring those Pinterest inspiration pictures to life for YOUR wedding!
