Kellie & I went to youth group together and believe it or not, we were each other’s dates to Elk Lake Homecoming one year…so needless to say, we’ve had a lot of fun together over the years. When Kellie brought Jon home, I knew she had found THE ONE because he brought out the best in Kellie and neither one of them could stop laughing when they were around each other! Their wedding day was so fun & JOYFUL! It’s hard to put into words and describe how beautiful their day was but it all stemmed from their joy and their joy in Christ!
The girls got ready in her cousin’s home in Tunkhannock and then the ceremony was at a family farm right outside of Montrose with stunning views! The details were amazing, it felt like you were in a Pinterest wedding…the flowers from Lily Pad Florists were gorgeous, the dresses altogether, Kellie’s hair, the barn decorations…but above all of that, it was beautiful because you could just feel God’s presence throughout the whole day! The sun shone down during the ceremony as they sang a song of worship together and it made me think that God was just smiling down on them!
Kellie & Jon’s love for people was so apparent…their family & friends traveled to get to be here for this special day because of the impact Kellie & Jon have had in their lives. They invest into others and as one of the bridesmaids said in the speech, Kellie would give and give and give to other people even if it wasn’t ideal for her because she just wanted to help others and I have a feeling Jon is the same way!
After a delicious BBQ dinner and some pie, everyone got to square dancing in the barn…and oh what fun was had by all before the lantern send off at the end of the night!
Congratulations Kellie & Jon! I can’t wait to see what God has in store for your marriage!
