Grace sent me a Facebook message last fall asking about booking a portrait session & we started planning. We had mutual friends from Clarks Summit University but had never actually met, so I was excited to get to meet her! This portrait session wasn’t just a portrait session, it was a portrait session celebrating the road of recovery for Grace. She openly shares about her journey of recovery from anorexia and just started a v-log  . She wanted these photos to be able to document this point in her story, to celebrate all she’s accomplished and to serve as a motivation on the hard days. Last Friday was the day we finally made the photos happen! It was a very cold, Northeast PA day but you’d never be able to tell from how joyful & excited Grace is in these pictures (my fingers were numb, I’m not really sure how she was without a coat!) We started off at Adezzo Coffee Shop in Scranton where she likes to read & knit and then wandered on the nearby streets, finding cute little walls & shops for photos. Grace was a natural in front of the camera, her love for theatre shown through & she went right into character, I loved it!
